Acute Softwares Electronic Diary is, in its simplest form; a replacement for your paper diary and all those post it notes that are scattered around your desk. You can use it to jot down notes, appointments, websites, things to do, reminders, just about anything at all; and it can be retrieved instantly. Give important events a remind time and you will be reminded to do them whether or not the diary is running.
But the real power of this diary is that it automatically shows you what you have been using the PC for, and creates events for them. In a flash, and without having to type in ANYTHING, you can see over the past week what you have been spending your time on.
This version can be Networked with the optional Server.
This makes sense, because it stands to reason that if you are using a computerised diary, then you are probably also using your PC . Now you can see in an instant how long you spent working on that proposal, what you called that new report, even when and which games you played!
Also has recurring appointments and a date calculator
All this happens invisibly to you, and you choose what level of detail you want created, for example you have it so that it only checks once a day to see what files you modified on that day , or the launcher program can simply record which applications and documents you are using every few minutes if you like!
This is a real eye opener when you run it for a month and then see exactly where your time at the PC is spent!
