RadioWORKS is a tool for calculating various items related to radio waves. It enables you to calculate the wavelength and proper antenna length for any given frequency, and also includes an "Inverse Square Ratio" calculator, useful for estimating how a proposed power change will affect your usable range -or- how a proposed distance change will affect your power requirments. RadioWORKS is FREEWARE.

RadioWORKS: Calculate radio wave properties. Get frequency info: free-space wavelength, antenna lengths, band info, propagation methods, tx configs, etc. Calculate path loss using Free-Space, Flat-Earth, ITU Terrain, Hata, or Empirical COST-Walfisch-Ikegami models, or, run models backwards to get distance for a given loss. Predict how a proposed tx power change or range requirement change will affect existing system range or power output needs.
