   Getting a lot of Illegal Operations? The problem may be with old versions of system files conflicting with new versions of the same system files. On Windows-based systems, particularly with Windows 95 and 98, software applications that you install may install an updated system file. But instead of replacing an old system file, it often puts the new system file in its own application folder. The problem that occurs is that other applications that use this system file will load the old version from your System folder. Then you run the new application that uses the same system file, but uses the newer version instead. The problem is that only one copy of the system file can be in memory at a time, so the new program will try to do something that does not exist in the old system file, thus causing the "Illegal Operation".

RJ System File Checker scans your system for duplicate system files and eliminates the old versions. Please Note: There is a reported problem with the registration key of RJ System File Checker. If your Regional settings in Control Panel use a date format other than "mm/dd/yyyy" (the USA format--Month first, then day, then year), RJ System File Checker will have difficulty recognizing your Registration key as valid. If you encounter this problem, temporarily changing your regional settings to English (US) will solve this, but RJ System File Checker may need to be set this way every time you run.
